Services Offered

G.P. – If you are from the local area, upon admission you can retain your own G.P.   Where this is impracticable the Home will arrange for a local G.P. to look after your needs either from Prior Surgery, Holywood Health Centre or Ashley Medical Centre.  Dr Craig from Ashley Medical Centre visits Richmond fortnightly to see the residents registered with her.  Whichever you choose you will have full medical supervision.

RELIGIOUS NEEDS – Your clergyman or priest is welcome and encouraged to visit at any time.  Services are held at intervals depending on the wishes of the residents.

HAIRDRESSING – Every Thursday and Friday local hairdresser, Lorna, comes to Richmond Nursing Home and will cater for any resident requiring a cut, set or perm.

LIBRARY FACILITIES – A selection of books and tapes are supplied by the Library Service who comes to the Nursing Home on monthly visits and we have an in-house library also.

DAILY PAPERS – Daily papers are provided and are available for all residents.

VISITING – We have an open visit policy and visitors are also encouraged to speak to any of the management team.

SMOKING – To protect the health and safety of all residents, smoking is not allowed in the Nursing Home.  This applies to residents, staff and all visitors.
